Overview
VOS-1H3G-ADCET/R provides 1-Channel uncompressed 3G-SDI over fiber, with duplex unbalanced analog audio, serial data (Rs485, Rs232 or Rs422) and Ethernet. 3G-SDI supports one loop output for local display, dual outputs for two displays in the remote end. applications for Remote PTZ Camera Connectivity, Studio to Control Room Links, Live Event Broadcasting.
Stand-alone or rack-mount. All 3G-SDI video over Fiber of VOS-1H3G-ADCET/R comes in an insert card version. The cards can be inserted into our 16-slot, 19inch 4U rack (VOS-CH04).

Q): Does this fiber converter can support 12G-SDI?
A): This device only supports 3G-SDI. but we offer two versions: 3G-SDI and 12G-SDI fiber converter. The 12G-SDI version is compatible with 6G-SDI and 3G-SDI. Please select your required
3G-SDI to fiber converter or
12G-SDI to fiber converter version in the corresponding section.
Q): What is the transmission distance of this 3G-SDI fiber converter? Does it support multi-mode fiber?
A): This device is equipped with a single-mode optical module, with a standard configuration of 20km transmission over single-mode fiber. For longer transmission distances, we can use higher optical power modules to support 40km and 60km transmission as needed. In addition, we do not recommend using multi-mode fiber. Please contact us if multi-mode fiber has already been laid in your system.
Q): How to choose the fiber optic interface? How many fiber cores are needed?
A:) Our 3G-SDI Fiber Optic Converter supports a variety of fiber optic interfaces including ST, LC, FC, etc., and customized SMPTE 304M Hybrid Electrical and Fiber Optic Connector are also available. Just inform us of your required type before placing an order. The standard configuration of our device adopts single-core fiber, which saves fiber resources for the system. We also offer a dual-core fiber option, with a slightly lower price for this configuration.
Q): Can a 19 inch 1U rack be chosen for the control room side?
A): Yes, this is a widely adopted configuration. The broadcast camera side can be a standalone unit (V-mount is also optional), and the control room side can be fitted with a 19-inch 1U rack, this design eases installation and management. This option is totally available; just inform us of your requirements before placing an order.
